First Jail Door F1 race at BPR
image

It's the first ever Jail Door F1 race at BPR. This is Bryan Warmack's entry for the race on the Gerding King track.

image

These two Bryan Warmack cars were first and second for our first JD F1 Concours podium.

image

Bryan raced the car on the left and Mill Conroy raced the car on the right.

image

Being that this is the very first JD F1 race, we didn't place any emphasis on the correctness of these F1 entries. '66 and prior F1's did not have drivers using seat/shoulder harnesses or full helmets.

image

Both of Bryan's cars used some old BRM repops. Not sure of the origins of this body.

image

The field for our first Jail Door F1 race at BPR had 8 entries. Not bad for our first attempt.

That's Paul Sterrett's entry in the foreground and Eddie Shorer drove one of Keith's loaner cars (Steube chassis, Dilworth Eagle body) in the background

image

PdL raced this Tanaka loaner car (chassis by Steube). Howmet (John Dilworth) BRM H16 body. Keith's entry in the background is a '66 Gurney Eagle by Electric Dreams (Steube chassis).

Bryan Warmack's BRM entry in the foreground and Mill Conroy's similarly prepared Warmack BRM (Josh Crutchfield chassis) in the background.

image

Dale Yamashita's Eagle entry. Not sure who makes this nice looking Eagle body. That's Ron Kiyomura's Eagle in the background.
